The Spirit Walker participation option allows you to register and raise pledges, in support of the Peoria Memorial Affiliate, from the comfort of your home on Race Day. This is the perfect solution for those who aren't morning people or are planning to be out of town on Race Day. Those registered for this option will receive a Race for the Cure t-shirt and one race bib. When selecting this option you can continue to support a team of your choice. Breast cancer survivors registering with this option will also receive one pink Survivor t-shirt and pink cap. Remember to start conversations and solicit pledges!

NOW is the time to start planning your team for the 2010 Komen Peoria Memorial Race for the Cure. Our goal is 25,000 participants and forming TEAMS is the way to get there!
A team can be made of fifteen or more family members, friends, coworkers, classmates or any group you may be a part of. Rally around someone you know who was just diagnosed, someone who has fought the battle, or someone who may have lost the battle. Run for future generations in hopes that breast cancer will one day be a thing of the past. Run for their lives. Run for your life. Encourage team members to get creative with your team name and apparel for the Race. Recruit additional members and solicit pledges to meet your team goal.
Your registration fee gets us to the start line. Your fundrasing gets us to the finish line. Thanks for your support as we address the urgent needs of our ten county area served by the Peoria Memorial Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
With sincere thanks,
Eric Brinker Philip Lockwood Jordan Maricle Race Co-Chair Affiliate President Race Co-Chair
